8 Experiences to Book in Cabo for the Ultimate Girls Trip

I’ve traveled to Cabo more times than I can count on one hand, and that’s unusual for me. I typically spend enough time in a destination to feel I’ve experienced it fully, and rarely find a reason to return. Cabo is the exception. This sunny Mexican destination has become the place my friends and I return to again and again to reconnect. Maybe it’s the familiarity, the scenery, or the perfect mix of relaxation and adventure. Whatever the reason, Cabo keeps drawing us back—for best-friend getaways, bachelorette trips, and even weddings—and, much to my surprise, the destination always reveals something new. With every visit, I fall a little more in love with this stretch of Mexico’s Baja Peninsula—and grow even closer to my crew.

Cabo has all the ingredients for an unforgettable girls trip: sweeping views, beautiful blue water, delicious food, warm hospitality, and no shortage of things to do. Whether it’s sipping cocktails by a private pool, sailing across the Sea of Cortez, or heading out for a lively night in town, the real magic is sharing it all with friends. Ready to gather your besties and plan your own getaway? Here are eight must-book Cabo experiences that will live on in the group chat for years to come.

For girls trips with more than four people, booking a private villa is almost always the best option. Villas offer the space, privacy, and flexibility that hotels rarely can, especially when you’re spending several days together. Multiple bedrooms give everyone room to recharge, while kitchens and living rooms make it easy to gather for late-night conversations, cocktails, and group dinners. Private villas also provide more freedom to decorate for birthdays or bachelorette parties, and many come with standout amenities such as private pools, gyms, or even movie theaters.

Villas in Pedregal, Cabo’s gated hillside community, are particularly appealing. Perched above the marina with stunning views, the neighborhood is quiet, secure, and perfect for morning hot-girl walks. One of my favorite stays has been at Villa de la Luz by Cabo Villas. The five-bedroom property has a fully equipped kitchen for mixing margs and preparing late-night snacks, plus a private pool with a waterfall that’s perfect for lounging on inflatable floaties. Other villas worth considering include Casa La Piñata, ideal for larger groups; Villa Esencia del Mar, which features a private theater for movie nights; Villa Golondrina, known for its sea views; and Villa Cantamar, which includes a gym.
