A GoPro camera captures the moment two skiers rescued another skier buried under feet of snow in Lake Tahoe, California.
Carson Schmidt and his friend spotted the man in distress after noticing a pair of skis protruding from the snow. The pair sprang into action, digging him out before he suffocated.
“I hope my post brings awareness to the skiing community to ski with a friend,” Schmidt said. “You never know where you’re going to be.”
