Guests are being invited to get their denim and diamonds ready for a new country music-themed cruise.
The “Nashville Nights” sailing is being offered by travel agent Cruise.co.uk with Ambassador Cruise Line and will feature tribute acts to Johnny Cash, Shania Twain, Lainey Wilson and Luke Combs, alongside country music bands including The Charmed and Britt & The Backbeat.
Departing from Tilbury, Essex on 25 March 2027, the four-night cruise aboard the 1,400-guest Ambience includes quizzes, dining, silent discos and fitness sessions alongside line dancing classes and open mic sessions.
Meanwhile, the traditional cruise formal night will be replaced by a “Denim & Diamonds” evening.
As part of the voyage, Ambience will call at both Bruges and Amsterdam.
Tony Andrews, managing director of Cruise.co.uk, said: “Country music has an incredibly passionate fan base, so we’ve created something we hope will really tap into that enthusiasm.
“This sailing will bring together great music, themed entertainment and the relaxed atmosphere of cruising, giving guests the chance to enjoy a completely different kind of holiday escape.”
Prices start from £489 per person. The cruise is adult-only.
Country music is a popular subject for themed cruises. Marella Cruises had a “Country Rhythms” cruise last month that featured a Dolly Parton impersonator.
Norwegian Cruise Line and Celebrity Cruises have previously hosted country music cruises.
Celebrity Cruises’ newest ship Xcel also features the “Saddle Up Saloon”, where guests can take part in line dancing, country music, and dance lessons.
