
FlixBus has announced it will be launching eight new routes in time for the Easter break, with cheap tickets under £5 available.
The long-distance coach network said this week it will exceed 100 towns and cities on its roster for the first time and new locations have been added to its timetable.
This year is also FlixBus’s fifth anniversary of UK operations, so it is offering tickets under £5 (starting at £4.49) for all the new destinations on the network.
The promotional fares are available to book until 30 April for travel between 13 April and 30 June 2026.
As of 1 April, the coach company will launch in Doncaster, Blackpool, Halifax, Huddersfield and Milton Keynes.
Daily FlixBus services between York, Heathrow airport and central London will also start running.
More airport connections will also be added, including buses running from Brighton to Heathrow, as well as connections from Gatwick airport to Leeds and Sheffield.
Shuttle services have also been set up between FlixBus will also offer services between Manchester airport and Newcastle, Sunderland, Middlesbrough, Leeds, Huddersfield and Bradford.
Also launching are new connections between Bristol airport and Plymouth, Taunton, Cheltenham and Exeter, as well as Leicester and Nottingham to both Plymouth and Bristol.

In May, FlixBus will then launch another series of new destinations, with Colchester, Chelmsford and Ipswich joining the network, as well as more direct connections to London and Oxford from Birmingham airport.
East Anglia’s FlixBus services will also be boosted with new services between Norwich and Heathrow, as well as to Birmingham and Plymouth.
