MGM offers a new all-inclusive option for Vegas tourists including meals, entertainment and a room for a cheap price

MGM Resorts has announced it is launching an all-inclusive travel package for Las Vegas visitors.

The new bundle will include a hotel stay, resort fees, dining, entertainment, and parking for a single upfront price beginning at $330 plus tax for a two-night stay for two guests. The package includes rooms at either the Luxor Hotel & Casino or the Excalibur Hotel and Casino.

The package is now available and aims to give guests a way to enjoy Las Vegas without breaking the bank.

In addition to the stays, the bundle includes three meals per day per guest, covering breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The food allowances will be redeemable at select MGM Resorts properties, including Luxor, Excalibur, MGM Grand, Mandalay Bay, and New York-New York. Beverages are included in the package.

The Excalibur’s buffet and TAP Sports Bar, the Luxor’s Diablo Cantina, Pyramid Cafe, Public House, and Backstage Deli, New York-New York’s Tom’s Watch Bar, Mandalay Bay’s Noodle Shop, and the MGM Grand’s buffet and TAP Sports Bar will all be included as options for diners.

The “entertainment” part of the deal includes two tickets to one MGM Resorts show per stay and two rides on the Big Apple Coaster at New York-New York.

Current shows at the Luxor include the Blue Man Group, a Carrot Top show, and FANTASY: The Strip’s Sexiest Tease. At Excalibur, visitors can see the Australian Bee Gees Show, the Mac King Comedy Magic Show, and Thunder from Down Under.

For travelers renting cars, self-parking for one vehicle at any MGM Resorts Las Vegas property will be included.

“Las Vegas has long been known for its diverse collection of unforgettable experiences, and this new option combines many of them together in a fresh, compelling way,” Mike Neubecker, President & COO of MGM Grand, Mandalay Bay, New York-New York, Luxor & Excalibur, said in a statement.

He added that by “bundling hotel, dining, entertainment and parking into a single upfront price, we’re offering guests a convenient, turn-key way to explore our hotels and make new memories without any hassle or surprises.”

Travel stays will begin on April 6, but travelers can start booking now.

The announcement comes at a time when Las Vegas has been struggling to attract visitors. Complaints over high food and lodging prices have dogged the casinos and restaurants in Sin City for more than a year, leading to a decline in both domestic and international visitors.

MGM Resorts International CEO William Hornbuckle said during a recent earnings call that his company made adjustments to prices and offerings after receiving critical feedback from guests.

“Of course, that growth ebbs and flows over shorter measurements of time, and this summer, we heard from some of our guests around value in Las Vegas, and we responded by making adjustments to ensure a rationalized premium value experience across all of our properties,” he said. “We also partnered with a destination on a fabulous five-day sale during which we sold over 300,000 room nights, nearly doubling our typical pace, reflecting the strong demand that exists for our experiences.”

Hornbuckle also acknowledged that prices for visitors had become excessive across the board.

“When we think about pricing and things that got everyone’s attention, whether it was the infamous bottle of water or a Starbucks coffee at Excalibur that cost $12, shame on us,” Hornbuckle said. “We should have been more sensitive to the overall experience at a place like Excalibur to those customers. You can’t have a $29 room and a $12 coffee. We have gone through the organization — we think, we hope, we believe — and we’ve price corrected.”
